Position Description: Proforma is currently seeking an enthusiastic, industry-savvy sales professional who is passionate about new business development to join our high-performing Mergers & Acquisitions team. You will make a significant contribution to company growth through the generation of substantial new revenue via new client acquisition. As the Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions, you will be responsible for building and expanding our members’ markets by identifying, developing, negotiating and closing new business relationships via mergers or acquisitions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new and existing referral sources to develop successful referring relationships
- Build a sales pipeline by cultivating prospects, creating new business opportunities and managing/expanding existing relationships using Salesforce.com
- Create and deliver sales presentations to key decision makers
- Actively identify and generate prospects through strategic sales strategies focusing on prospects in target markets
- Identify potential new leads by performing industry research, cold calling, and networking
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; develop and negotiate contracts
- Act as a liaison between the prospect and our member offices
- Exhibit knowledge of all Proforma’s tools and resources to effectively communicate how Proforma benefits the seller’s exit strategy
- Develop proposals, presentations, and webinars and have the ability to effectively speak in front of a group of people
- Meet expectations and goals set forth by management
- Other duties, expectations and projects as deemed necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, sales, or related field
- Ability to understand and analyze financial statements
- Strategic Selling, analytical, negotiations, relationship building skills with the ability to develop strategies for pipeline development
- Customer focused professional demeanor and presentation style
- Highly focused and results oriented, able to identify goals and priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a close team environment, self-starter who has the drive for success
- Positive track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Proficient Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) skills
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with prospects, clients and colleagues which are based on mutual respect and integrity
- Exceptional time management skills displaying ability to manage multiple tasks with strict attention to detail
