PROFORMA TALKS TECHNOLOGY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA

TAMPA, FL (November 15, 2021)

Proforma, the $500 million Technology and Business Success leader, presented an overview on technology in the promotional products world at the Career Showcase at the University of Florida. The presentation was led by Stan Maxwell, Proforma’s Chief Strategy Officer and Brian Roney, Proforma’s Director of eCommerce, and it focused on promotional product industry trends and the importance of technology including the explosive growth of eCommerce.

The Career Showcase is the University of Florida’s largest career fair spanning three days of virtual and in-person networking with top companies from all over the United States. Proforma was invited by Craig Petrus, Executive Director of Career Services at University of Florida to host a special lecture on technology and its importance in our industry, and he noted that, “Proforma did an excellent job of educating our Warrington College of Business students on the impact of technology in today’s business environment.”

“As a graduate of the University of Florida with a background in both business and computer science, I really enjoyed sharing up to date technology trends with upcoming graduates. All students somewhat understand the B2C market but many were surprised at the overall size and areas of opportunity within the B2B market and the role our industry plays in B2B eCommerce.” stated Brian Roney, Director of eCommerce at Proforma.

Proforma has invested more than $20 million to date in ProVision, its proprietary business management platform, and Proforma also continues to heavily invest in ProStores, its proprietary eCommerce platform. Over the past year and a half, all Proforma Owners transitioned onto the new platform in an expedited rollout.
