First Impressions – A Business Card Case Study
Industry: Financial
Project: Business Card Program
Mergers and acquisitions reek havoc with any company's marketing materials. Overnight, corporate logos, titles, and addresses can become obsolete—a problem necessitating a solid marketing and business forms transitional plan.
When Proforma faced such a merger with one of it's large bank clients, they quickly identified that new business cards would be the most immediate of their needs. Proforma proposed an on-line ordering solution for the client that enabled any business card order placed by 10:00 a.m. on a Thursday to be shipped that Friday. Best of all, the new process allowed employees to proof their new cards online—cutting down on printing errors and making the employees feel like a valued part of the company’s transition.
The process was so successful that it remains in place today. It has drastically cut down the time and effort involved in ordering business cards for all employees of the bank—and all of the new employees it acquires through acquisitions each year.
