Proforma Stewart & Associates Announces Award Winning Video
Simpsonville, MD - April 6, 2009
Proforma Stewart & Associates' multimedia services partner was recently honored with a Telly Award for a program that was completed for a Proforma Stewart & Associates client.
Panoptic Studios, a proven leader in film, video, interactive graphics and website production received the award for a video that was completed for the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitor’s Association (BACVA). The four minute video was produced for meeting planners and was shot in Baltimore. Focused around the theme, "In Baltimore, you're two feet from everything," the video demonstrated the wide array of activities that Baltimore offers as a meetings destination, from hotels and convention and meeting space to dining, shopping and entertainment venues.
"We truly value our relationship with Panoptic Studios and are proud of the company's recent Telly Award for the BACVA project we completed with them," said Bruce Copeland, President of Proforma Stewart & Associates. "Panoptic enables us to provide our clients with cutting edge multimedia solutions to meet their needs."
Founded in 1978, the Telly is the premier award, honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online film and video. The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, interactive agencies, and corporate video departments in the world. The Telly Awards receives over 13,000 entries annually from all 50 states and many countries around the world.
"A prestigious judging panel of over 40 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Telly, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents. Judges evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work – entries do not compete against each other – rather entries are judged against a high standard of merit. Fewer than 10% of entries are chosen as winners of a Telly."
