Proforma Position: Print Production Coordinator

Position Description: 

This position works closely with all members of the operations team towards achieving printed label delivery performance goals and objectives. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of printing and label production are preferred, but active curiosity and willingness to learn as the position will interact daily with pressmen, CSR’s, production staff, and other operations team members, managers and owner as appropriate.

Daily responsibilities include the coordination of production plans, tracking operations performance, processing open work orders and work-in-process needs, label rewind and inspection equipment (will train onsite) and other production support activities as required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare & coordinate production requirements based on daily job tickets

• Pack and ship production orders

• Participate in daily/weekly production planning meetings

• Support other operations needs as requested

• Additional duties as assigned

Expected Areas of Competence:

• Must be able to assist manufacturing when situations arise where more resources are needed and perform any task as assigned, including quality control

• Experience with Shipping & Receiving FedEx and UPS Shipments

• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack

• Phone and email etiquette, Spanish is a plus, but not required

• Superior levels of accuracy, good sense of urgency, and the ability to troubleshoot issues as appropriate

• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack

• Physical ability to bend at the waist and bend at the knees to lift 50+lbs

• Managing production area and warehouse organization and cleanliness on daily basis
