Brian Carothers, a graduate of the Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science, joined Proforma in 2015 to lead and manage Proforma's technology advancements and the development of a new order entry system. Brian oversees Proforma's IT department and manages all development, analysis and project management resources.
Brian has more than 25 years of experience managing, designing and implementing custom IT applications. Prior to joining Proforma, he worked on dozens of projects with a wide variety of sizes and scopes for clients that ranged from middle market corporations to the Fortune 50. He spent 12 years with Amentra and subsequently Red Hat, the world’s leading open source software development company. Brian also served as the CTO for ARMS Software, the country's leading provider of software for college athletic departments.
